- I needed a place for all the things I have learned using Tapestry5.
- I was teaching an elective course in writing web applications. The course material required me to use JSP. JSP works but I wasn't really crazy about writing a boat load of code for it to do something interesting like display data from a database.
The whole course will be something like this:
- What are we making? An address book (for the web) what else?
- Sharpen that hammer, align that saw (or is that the other way around?)
- Weaving that Tapestry
- Let's start with some basic stitches
- Homer Simpson on Hibernate: DAO!
- Automatic Housing: Tapestry's Scaffolding Components
- Getting that layout just right
- Nip/Tuck (not the show)
- Jetty in the shell but Tomcat in the Ghost
- Death by Captcha?(Bonus)
Nice work - you should link this tutorial on the tapestry wiki
